Google Street View: Norfolk funnies
It’s all over the Internet, TV and press – Google has finally started to publish it’s street view images for Google maps inducing many streets in Norfolk.
The current offerings are limited to Norwich and a section south of the city.
In short this service is a result of the Google car, kitted out with the some hi-tech cameras driving up and down the streets of the UK taking pictures.
The pictures can be viewed and navigated using Google maps.
Google has cutting edge software used to blur and distort faces and number plats but as you may have read on other blogs this has not always been reliable and a number of amusing incidents have already been reported.
